How do I give at Cornerstone?Weekend Offering
An offering is taken at each of the weekend services. Our new contribution processing software is able to take the information directly from your check and match the giving with your household. No offering envelopes required!
If you would like your contribution or a portion of your contribution designated to a certain fund, please list the fund and the amount desired in the memo line of the check. When no specific designation is given, all funds are designated to the General Fund.
Loose cash gifts are considered anonymous donations and are designated to the General Fund. Offering envelopes are enclosed in the Sunday service program and can be used to designate a fund.

Why Give Online? It keeps first things first.
The Bible indicates giving is to be a "first" and not a last or leftover matter in my life. Read Proverbs 3:9-10. It is easy to let our intentions be compromised by the pressure of expenses and billing cycles.
It's consistent.
Have you ever forgotten your gift, left it at home or pledged to double it in the future? Have you had times where you have fallen behind because of travel or other schedule interruptions? Online giving provides a way to stay up to date with your budget.
It's convenient.
Through online giving, you expedite your gift, simplify our accounting, and strengthen our base of regular support.
What else do I need to know about giving online? Here are a few Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) about online giving. Perhaps they will also be helpful to you.
Q: I clicked the "Give Online" button and nothing happens.
A: When you click Online Giving, a new browser window is opened. If you are using a pop-up blocker such as the Google Toolbar, Norton Internet Security, or Pop-Up Stopper, the window will not open. Most tools will allow you to permit pop-ups on a specific web site. In order to use the Giving area, you will need to allow pop-ups within CornerstoneChandler.com.
Q: When would this automatic contribution be charged to my account?
A: On the signup screens, you can specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, every other week (bi-weekly), twice per month (on the 1st and the 16th), monthly, quarterly, or yearly. You can set up as many schedules as you would like, so it is possible to give a monthly gift as well as a weekly one.
Q: Can I test this by giving one time?
A: Yes. You may test Online Giving by selecting "One Time" in the frequency drop down box of the signup process.
Q: How can I keep a record of the amount I have contributed?
A: At any time you can view your record of "online" giving by viewing the Contribution History box. This will provide each donation you made, when you made it, and a year-to-date total. We also send year end statements directly to your home address.
Q: Can I use my credit or debit card?
A: Yes, as long as your credit or debit card has a Visa, MasterCard or Discover logo.
Q: Can I use e-check?
A: Yes! This is a recent addition to our online giving capability and there are several advantages for using e-check. By using e-check you can be sure that your contributions to the church are not accumulating additional credit debt that can pose later financial challenges. Also, e-check has the lowest cost to Cornerstone for processing your contribution. Because of this Win-Win situation, we encourage you to use e-check as your online contribution choice whenever possible.
Q: Can I use an ATM card?
A: ATM or check cards are not accepted at this time.
Q: Is giving online secure?
A: For your protection, we have taken a number of steps to maximize the security of financial transactions that are accepted on Cornerstone's website. Bank account processing is accomplished using secure processing services. Your entry of this information is encrypted when transmitted. Encryption is a process that scrambles information into a format that unauthorized parties can not decode or utilize. 128-bit encryption is the strongest, most secure form of encryption generally utilized in Internet browsers in North America.
Q: Is my online giving information kept private?
A: The online giving registration form requires you to give us contact information (like your name and e-mail address), and demographic information. Cornerstone will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. This information is stored in your file in a secure environment separate from our website. Also, see the Cornerstone Privacy Policy.
Q: Who do I talk to if I have more questions?
A: Contact our Finance Department at the church office 480.726.8000 and we'll be glad to answer any other questions you may have about online giving.
